I would love to see that as well. But 60 FPS depends on how the game was coded, if anything is tied to the framerate. 4K should be no problem, though. Maybe Microsoft can do something via backwards compatibility. Would be awesome. Please note that not all games are created equal. Games like Assassin Creed perform a lot of cpu heavy cpu calculations. These calculations remain the same at 4k,1440p and 1080p. Only for handful of supported games mostly few online shooters run at 120fps. But it’s not significant noticeable improvement over 60fps you won’t feel great difference. If you can afford it throw away money then why not if your 4K TV is old. But if you are saving cash, don’t waste it. The less powerful Xbox Series S will target 120 frames per second at 1080p.
